Pub series features topics such as nanotechnology
Abstract:
Techies can quench their thirst and feed their head during an informal presentation on nanotechnology by David Altman, a Willamette University physics professor.
The event, "Nanotech and the Physics of the Nanorealm," part of Science Pub, is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 8 at Brown's Towne Lounge, 189 Liberty St. NE.
A graduate of the University of Chicago and Stanford University, Altman will highlight nanotechnology's unintuitive properties and discuss its potential for advancing human understanding of physics.
