Abstract:
The Islamic Azad University of Omidiyeh in Khuzestan province, Southwestern Iran, plans to hold a national congress entitled 'Novel Technologies in Oil and Gas Industries' on March 3 to 4, 2011.

The congress themes include, but not limited to, methods of information resources management, oil recovery methods and optimization of exploration processes as well as application of novel technologies, basically nanotechnology, in oil and gas industry.

Interested researchers are invited to send the abstract of their scientific article to the congress secretariat by January 20. It may be noted that students would enjoy a 50% discount on the registration fee.

Along with the congress, there will be held several advanced workshops of topics concerning oil and gas engineering as well as an exhibition for presentation of the achievements of companies of the related field of activity and expertise.
