Abstract:
Strong leadership and steadfast commitment has contributed to a successful first year of operations
Phono Solar, one of the world's largest solar companies specialized in the complete design and production of quality mono crystalline and poly crystalline silicon solar modules, is celebrating a successful first year of US operations. Established to better serve the US market, the Woodlands Tex as office has met a number of important milestones resulting in a solid presence this year.
With the solar industry representing an important sector of growth in the US economy, 2010 has been an important year to enter this promising market. In a decisive step, Phono Solar set up an office in The Woodlands, Texas.
Headed by Chris Kamykowski, President of Phono Solar USA, this branch ensures the company's investment grade quality mono crystalline and poly crystalline silicon solar modules continue to meet the needs of the US market. Kamykowski brings his background in marketing and supply chain management to this project, to tailor the Photo Solar offering and position Phono Solar as a key player in the US solar industry.
Underlining their commitment to this new territory, Phono Solar participated in a number of key industry initiatives this year. Their presence at Solar Power International was instrumental, as it provided a platform for the company to share international initiatives with potential partners in the US. Additionally, Phono Solar worked to set up distribution channels and ensure both their mono crystalline and poly crystalline modules are part of important projects throughout the US.
"The US market for solar energy has improved dramatically over the last year," shares Kamykowski. "With the support of the federal and state incentives that are currently in place, solar is poised to grow at an accelerated rate throughout 2011. We are pleased to be here in the US, to participate in this growth and adapt our offering to meet the needs of this exciting market."
Phono Solar forecasts an impressive 50MW of US projects in 2011. With several strategic agreements in the pipeline, the company is prioritizing the US and plans to expand operations in this key market over the next few years.
Phono Solar US headquarters are located at 9595 Six Pines Drive, The Woodlands, TX, 77380.
