Cuban scientists use nanotechnology to fight cancer

Abstract:
Cuban scientists are designing treatment plans and medicines by using nanotechnology to fight cancer, an official said Sunday.

Marlene Porto, Director of the state-run Center for Investigation and Development of Medicines, told local newspaper Juventud Rebelde that Cuban scientists "are working on important pharmacological designs on a nanotechnological scale."
