Thailand | Posted on October 20th, 2010

It is an undeniable truth that we are all surrounded by technology. Either while sleeping, working or just resting we are always using technology. It is therefore vital to take sometime to realize the importance of the people behind the technology, the technologist. This sentiment was echoed by H.E. King Bhumibol Adulyadej as "Father of Thai Technology".

"For our economy to compete globally it is necessary for us to support and promote our researchers" said Dr. Virachai. "Tonight's award ceremony is a token of our appreciation to the four recipients for their hard work and dedication to research and development of sustainable technologies".

The 2010 Technologist Award included:

The Group Research Award
