Mariner's Choice International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:MCII), a North American manufacturer of an extensive line of ecologically-safe products for the marine and other industry segments, today announced that it has signed an agency agreement with CL Solutions LLC of Ohio (www.cl-solutions.com) to sell MUNOX(R), a proprietary microbial compound that naturally biodegrades petroleum.

Mariner's Choice Signs Agreement to Sell Proprietary Microbial Product for Bioremediation

Jacksonville, FL | Posted on July 20th, 2010

MUNOX(R) is manufactured by Osprey Biotechnics of Florida (www.ospreybiotechnics.com) and CL Solutions is the product's exclusive distributor for the environmental remediation of petroleum hydrocarbons. MUNOX(R) is a patented technology formulated in partnership with the U.S. EPA Design for the Environment program. The product has been employed nationwide for 20 years to remediate soil and groundwater petroleum contamination.

MUNOX(R) is a non-pathogenic bio-safety Level 1 compound that is safe for fish, wildlife and other aquatic creatures. The product's microorganisms consume petroleum molecules and leave water and a minute amount of carbon dioxide as byproducts. After the petroleum is consumed, the naturally occurring microorganisms biodegrade.

Under the agreement with Mariner's Choice, CL Solutions provides full technical support, which ensures proper use of the product to achieve optimum results. "The signing of this agreement allows Mariner's Choice to confidently sell the product with the full support of CL Solutions, including technical and product knowledge training. Their in-depth understanding of the product and the professional structure of their organization allow them to provide hands-on sales assistance," stated Amie Hingston, president and CEO of Mariner's Choice.

She added, "The amount of product that is applied is dependent on numerous variables. However, generally speaking, it would take five to ten 55-gallon drums of MUNOX(R) to treat one affected acre. Having sold one of Osprey's products over the past three years, we are familiar with the quality of their product line and we are moving full speed ahead to promote MUNOX(R) for all applicable opportunities."
