I'm the boss; unless it's you
Abstract:
Alain Kaloyeros, the head of the University at Albany's College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, has a lot of power over the $5.5 billion Albany NanoTech complex on Fuller Road.
As it turns out, he has as much as a SUNY president.
In 2008, the SUNY board of trustees gave Kaloyeros duties "fully comparable and equal" to that of a SUNY university president. With that, he reports directly to SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher.
