Arkema gets $275K nanotech grant
Abstract:
Philadelphia-based chemical company Arkema Inc. has received a $275,000 grant from the Air Force Research Laboratory to develop stronger plastics.
The project, for which Arkema will provide matching funds, will have the company working on BlocBuilder, used to toughen epoxies used in electrical components as well as wind turbines, which allows the components to last longer.
