Abstract:
Concepts to Revolutionize the Energy Sector Through Nanotechnology
SabryCorp announced that the Nano Petroleum, Gas and Petrochemicals Industries Conference will be held from November 13th-15th, 2009 in Cairo, Egypt.
Faced with the need for exploration in ever more challenging remote and offshore sites and the need for improved environmental performance and output from existing wells, the oil and gas industry is in need of revolutionary technological solutions. The Nano Petroleum, Gas and Petrochemicals Industries Conference will provide a forum to bring scientists and leading industry executives together to explore the ways that the oil and gas industries can advance through nanotechnology.
The conference will be based on the following two themes:
'Oil & gas challenges for the Nanotech community'
Many of the challenges facing the oil & gas industry remain unknown to the scientific community (excluding petroleum engineers) generally. It is of crucial importance that such issues are clearly communicated.
'Nanotech solutions for the oil & gas industry'
Nanotech is an enabling multi-disciplinary technology, thus possibilities are infinite. Nanotech's cross-industry solutions need to be presented to the industry's executives to enable optimum decision making.
Discussing these themes will be a line of distinguished expert speakers with extensive backgrounds from the global nanotechnology community along with leading industry executives and officials from the petro, gas and petro chemical sectors.
The Nano Petroleum, Gas and Petro Chemical Industries Conference is organized by SabryCorp Ltd., a nanotechnology consulting firm serving regional and global interests in the advancement of science and technology.
