![]() |
Abstract:
An exciting development for Industrial Nanotech this year has been the addition of Nansulate® Solar Insulation coating to our line of energy saving and asset protection products. After testing on solar panels, solar water heaters and associated piping, Nansulate® Solar was shown to provide a significant increase in solar thermal system efficiency due to reducing the heat/energy loss. This not only has us excited, but also those in the Solar industry who are looking at ways to make Solar a more efficient energy technology.
This week we will be attending Solar 2009, America's leading conference on the emerging trends, technology and opportunities shaping the new energy economy. The conference is being held May 11-16 at the Buffalo/Niagara Convention Center in Buffalo, NY. Now in its 38th year, this cutting-edge conference is attended by leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs shaping the solar industry. The conference is presented by ASES (American Solar Energy Society), of which Industrial Nanotech is a member. Some of the featured speakers include representatives from GE's Global Research Center, SunEdison, Long Island Power Authority, as well as Governor David A. Peterson of New York.
The theme of this year's conference is 'You've Got the Power!", and we created a special brochure specifically for this conference to let solar energy professionals know how nanotechnology can help them capture more of that Power! You can download a copy of our special Solar 2009 Nansulate® Solar brochure here. We will also be doing real-time Twitter and Facebook updates from the show so you can follow along and it will be just like you are there.
Watch for our Twitter and Facebook updates on Friday, May 15th! And if you are planning to be at the show this Friday, send us an email and let us know.
Capture More Solar Power with Nanotechnology!
