Abstract:
This year, Oxford Instruments celebrates fifty years of scientific excellence and innovation. The company has always been at the forefront of developing technologies and sees nanotechnology, in all its forms and applications, as pivotal to the future of science. It is therefore delighted to be sponsoring the forthcoming meeting on Emerging applications of Engineered Nano-Structures, presented by The Thames Valley Members Group of The Institution of Chemical Engineers on Wednesday May 20th at 18.30, to be held at the School of Engineering, University of Oxford.

The speakers are Dr Kyriakos Porfyrakis, Head of Laboratory for Carbon Nanomaterials at the University of Oxford and Professor Adrian Williams, Director of Pharmaceutics and Head of Reading School of Pharmacy.

Richard Morris, IChemE's Thames Valley Members Group Chair said "Nanoscience is a key emerging technology. Engineers and scientists working in all disciplines will be increasingly involved in nanoscale processes and it is vital that they stay in touch with the latest developments in the field. I am delighted to be working with Oxford Instruments to deliver this event for our members".
