Kids gets big kick out of small scale at the Sciencenter
Abstract:
Throughout the day on Saturday, children who visited the Sciencenter took a closer look at individual "building blocks" of matter, and how scientists can move them to create new and better products at NanoDay 2009, part of a national weeklong festival of educational programs at museums and education centers designed to introduce children to nanoscale science and engineering. More than 200 science museums, research centers and universities across the country will hold events this week.
