Abstract:
mPhase Will Be Holding Hourly Demonstrations of the Superhydrophobic Effect Used in Nanobattery Activation
Leading microfludics and nanotechnology development company mPhase Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: XDSL) a Silver Sponsor of the 2008 NanoEurope Congress and Exhibition in St. Gallen, Switzerland, a major European nanotechnology event, will be holding live demonstrations of its breakthrough in microfluidics by demonstrating the superhydrophobic effect of a liquid on a nanostructured surface every hour on the hour on September 16 and 17, starting at 10.00 and ending at 16.00 h.
This is the first time that mPhase will be revealing its superhydrophobic technology to the European community. In addition, mPhase will also be demonstrating its manually activated reserve battery with a breakable separator designed for an emergency flashlight application on September 16th and 17th at 13.00 h.
The NanoEurope exhibition, held concurrently with the technical congress, offers companies from a wide range of business sectors a showcase for nanotechnology-enabled products. Last year, some 3,500 visitors from over 40 countries attended the NanoEurope event. Participation gives mPhase exposure to European markets and an opportunity to demonstrate its unique platform technology that serves as the basis for the AlwaysReady Smart NanoBattery.
According to mPhase CEO Ron Durando, "We are thrilled to be introducing ourselves to the European audience for the first time and exploring relationships with prospective partners and customers interested in the Smart NanoBattery and our platform porous membrane technology."
