Dubai goes in search of elixir of youth with launch of Anti-Aging Congress
Abstract:
Reversing the signs and symptoms of aging is now a reality of modern medical technology driven by 450 million baby boomers worldwide.
Driven by the advancements made in reversing the natural process of aging, November's Dubai Congress on Anti-Aging & Aesthetic Medicine (DCAAAM) - in association with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) and organisers Tarsus - will bring together a global network of scientists and physicians to address the needs of 450 million baby boomers worldwide seeking to retain their youth and maintain health.
The Arabian Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (Arabian A4M) was recently formed under the A4M umbrella to bring anti-aging medicine to the Arab world.
Its Chairman Dr Ali Mohamed is a pioneer in the fields of pain and age management. He said: "The goal of anti-aging medicine is not merely to prolong the total years of an individual's life, but to ensure an improved quality. The conference will highlight all aspects of this.
"The use of nutrition, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and advanced technologies including stem-cell research, nanotechnology and gene therapy have been proven to assist and even prevent serious diseases such as arthritis, Alzheimer's, diabetes and cardiovascular disease."
The Dubai Congress on Anti-Aging and Aesthetic Medicine will be held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre from 7-9 November.
