Abstract:
Nanoco showcased its quantum dot technology to an audience of British and German representatives from industry and academia at the Nanotechnology Knowledge Transfer Network event held in Berlin on 10 March 2008. Delegates attended from fields such as automotive, photovoltaic, electronics & chemistry.

Nanoco joined a UK delegation including Nanotechnology KTN and Materials KTN.
Michael Edelman, CEO of Nanoco Technologies gave a talk focusing on applications, ìNanoco is working in some very exciting areas with quantum dots.î He commented, ìIt was a good opportunity to present our quantum dot technology to some of Germanyís leading companies.î

The event was hosted by her Majestyís Ambassador, Sir Michael Arthur at the British Embassy in Berlin. Companies in attendance included Bosch, Q-Cells, and Bayer all there to hear about the exciting advances of quantum dot technology in application areas like electroluminescent displays, solid state lighting and CIGS thin-film solar cells.
