Home > Press > Nano Pet Products, LLC Signs Two Major Distributors to Meet Growing Demand for its Revolutionary Nanotechnology-Based Pet Products
Abstract:
Nano Pet Products, LLC, a Wilton, Connecticut-based company dedicated to bringing cleaner and healthier pet products to pet owners worldwide through nanotechnology, has signed two major new distributors, Superdog Pet Food Company based in Leola, Pennsylvania and Southeast Pet based in Austell, Georgia, to meet the growing demand for the company's revolutionary new Dog Gone Smart(TM) Bed and Dog Gone Smart(TM) Wear product lines.
Superdog Pet Food President, Fred Shober said, "We have received extremely positive initial feedback on the pet beds and a great many of our retail partners have expressed interest in carrying Nano Pet Products' dog bed and apparel lines and were willing to try the product over other trusted brands in the category." He added, "It is clear that Nano Pet Products' nanotechnology is revolutionizing the pet industry as there are simply too many 'me too' products out there."
According to Ryan Judge, President of Southeast Pet, "We introduced Nano Pet Products' bed and apparel lines at our open house recently, and the response was overwhelmingly positive." He added, "We are excited to offer products that are technologically superior, innovative, and unique which we believe allow our independent retailers to remain competitive in an industry dominated by 'big box players."
Chris Onthank, managing member and founder of Nano Pet Products, LLC said, "We are proud to be working with some of the pet industry's most well-respected distributors and appreciate their vote of confidence in our technology and the increasingly positive impact it is having on the pet industry as a whole."
According to The American Pet Products Manufacturers Association, Inc.'s (APPMA) Americans will spend more than $43.4 billion on pets in 2008, a 5.5 percent increase from 2007 which is also more than double what pet owners spent a little more than a decade ago.
Currently, Nano Pet Products, LLC offers more than 22 styles and sizes of The Dog Gone Smart(TM) Bed including round, rectangular (both available with Sherpa top), donut, crate pad, and memory therm, each one in five different colors. The beds are priced between $24.95 and $129.95. Dog Gone Smart(TM) Wear offers one style in more than 12 sizes, four different colors, and is priced between $35 and $65.
