$360,000 in grant awarded to 7 institutions

Abstract:
A state-backed technology investment organization awarded $360,000 in grants yesterday to seven Bay State research institutions for projects that move inventions from the laboratory to the marketplace.

Boston University researcher T.F. Morse won a grant for developing an ultra-high resolution X-Ray. Other grants rewarded researchers from Children's Hospital Boston, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston University, the University of Massachusetts and Harvard University in the fields of biotechnology, nanotechnology and clean energy technology.
