Photovoltaic Solar Cells Inc. is in the process of constructing the manufacturing equipment to make solar cells in a "roll to roll" process using a silicon blend particle in a colloid that is electrostatically sprayed onto Aluminum foil. More information on the company can be found on its web site http://www.photovoltaicsolarcells.com/ .
Today the company is pleased to announce that Professor Ion Tiginyanu has agreed to provide his services as a scientific advisor. Dr. Tiginyanu is the Director of The Technical Institute of Physics in Moldova, one of the world's premier universities in the field of semi-conductors. It was the Soviet Union's main semi-conductor lab. The company will be able to make use of the University's facilities for the testing and development of our silicon blend materials. We further intend to use the services of the Institute to work on graphene and silicon nano materials that are used in our process. Moldova is a small nation located between Romania and the Ukraine.
In addition Dr. Tiginyanu is vice-president of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. Dr. Tiginyanu is the author of a number of scientific papers. The University is the main scientific institution of the country comprising of 38 research institutes. Dr. Tiginyanu also serves as Director of the National Center for Materials Study and Testing affiliated to the Technical University of Moldova. The University has the necessary equipment to study chemical composition of our particles using EDX microanalysis among other scientific instruments. Management has known Dr. Tiginyanu for over 8 years.
We are also planning to start a training program and bring graduate students from the University to its facilities to serve as interns.
