Abstract:
Dais Analytic Corporation (Pink Sheets:DLYT) announced today its nanotechnology ConsERV™ energy recovery ventilation product has been recognized with the prestigious first place award for "Innovative Ventilation, Air Conditioning Design, and Energy Efficiency" from the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) for the HVAC installation at a new pavilion of the Tampa Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI).
Dais' ConsERV™ units are the heart of this innovative system which preconditions fresh air for the Museum while complying with the newest building codes defined by ASHRAE for Indoor Air Quality.
"The ConsERV™ system at MOSI operates at 77.8% total effectiveness saving the Museum the equivalent of 27 tons of summer air conditioning capacity - this combined with the winter savings - has reduced energy costs by over $14,000 annually," says Bob Brown Vice President of Marketing for Dais. "Installations like this reduce the creation of harmful CO2 while yielding valuable LEED points for ‘green' hungry building owners," said Brown.
Tim Tangredi, President of Dais Analytic Corp. stated, "We are delighted to garner further industry recognition. ConsERV™ won the Air Condition and Heating ‘2006 Innovation Award'. More gratifying is the industry recognition for a field installation's configuration and performance."
Continued recognition of ConsERV™ outstanding performance is underscored by the use of the ConsERV™ product in 40 School Districts in the State of Florida. Don Waddell, Pasco School District stated, "The ConsERV™ unit that was installed in the Sun Ray Elementary School several years ago has been operating successfully with minimal maintenance which is an extra plus. It is a reliable, performing product."
