Award Winning Ricardo Beverly Hills Solutions(TM) Luggage with Built-in Digital Scale, As Featured on the Good Housekeeping Wish List, Announces Addi

LA MIRADA, CA | Posted on September 27th, 2007

Today the company announced the addition of the Solutions Superlite collection, incorporating the same popular features of the original Solutions Collection, with enhancements and upgrades that further advance the benefits of the luggage line. Ricardo Beverly Hills President Robert Dodson explains, "The original Solutions Luggage Collection was recently tested by the Good Housekeeping Research Institute and dubbed the 'smarter suitcase', earning a spot on the May Wish List. Our new Solutions Superlite Collection has all of the features of the original line, but we have further enhanced the benefits and features."

Dodson continued, "We have incorporated another 'first', which is the marriage of nanotechnology with fabric. Solutions Superlite features Nano-Tex(R) treated fabric, which employs nanotechnology to provide superior protection against stains and outdoor elements. The result is an impressive luggage line that stays cleaner and maintains the look of new luggage, even after several uses."

In addition, the Solutions Superlite Luggage Collection is extremely lightweight and is now up to 30% lighter and provides up to 40% more packing capability, with the pull of a zipper.

Historical Overview: Developed in Response to the Overwhelming Request From Travelers for a Solution to the Widespread Problem of Airline Overweight Baggage Charges.

In 2006, Ricardo Beverly Hills was honored by the Travel Goods Association by being named the Product Innovation Award Winner for the original Solutions Luggage Collection, which features a Built-In Digital Scale which weighs baggage and its contents. Solutions(TM) was developed in response to the overwhelming need of today's travelers: luggage that is lightweight, efficient and easy to pack, with a built-in scale to indicate when the bag has exceeded the standard 50 pound weight limit. The built-in digital scale uses state-of-the-art technology and is designed, built and tested to withstand the rigors of everyday travel. This luggage collection directly addresses one of the major problems faced by today's travelers: costly airline overweight luggage penalties and the related inconvenience of unnecessary delays. Travelers can now pack their bags and know that they have not exceeded the standard airline weight limitation. Many travelers unknowingly exceed the baggage weight limit upon their return trip if they are returning with more items in their suitcase than they arrived with. Solutions(TM) solves the dilemma because travelers can weigh their luggage instantly, whether at home or in a hotel room.

The newly introduced Solutions(TM) Superlite Luggage Collection with digital built-in scale is available in two sizes: 25" and 28" Expandable Suiter Pullman, retailing between $150 and $180. The Collection also includes a 16" carry-on tote, a 17" rolling carry-on tote with computer compartment, 21" Superlite WheelAboard(TM), and 44" Rolling Garment Bag. Fashion colors include Copper Flame, Jet, and Smoke Silver. Available at Bon Ton, Belk, Gottschalk, eBags.com, and other fine department and specialty stores across the country.
