U.S. DoE Awards Yardney with Grant to Develop Lithium Ion Battery
Abstract:
Yardney Technical Products of Pawcatuck has received two federal awards totaling $200,000 for developing lithium-ion batteries for use in hybrid electric vehicles, the company announced Friday.
The research and development grants from the Department of Energy's Small Business Innovation Research program are geared toward improving the power and performance of batteries using nanoparticle-based anode and cathode materials.
