myLACYS Announces New Distribution Channels to Meet Growing Product Demand

SAN CLEMENTE, C | Posted on August 7th, 2007

Three Orange County, Calif. stores - Never Enough in Newport Beach, Fashion Plate in San Clemente and The Alley Cat in Dana Point - currently are carrying select styles of the myLACYS product line and other fashionable boutiques are scheduled to soon add the products as well.

Launched in March of this year, myLACYS is manufactured with a new, patent-pending nanotechnology fabric and is still the only product of its kind on the market. myLACYS' distribution channels are growing as women are discovering its unique market position - a chic and environmentally friendly alternative for women who wear daily disposable liners.

"My goal is to make myLACYS easily accessible to women throughout the country," explains Carol Barge, creator of myLACYS, based in San Clemente, Calif. "In less than six months, with just Website ordering available, we have proven that this is a product that women want - and need! We can tell this product is hitting the mark not only from the Website sales, but from the very excited email responses we've received from women who never thought they would find underwear that gives them confidence and style at the same time."

Ideal for active women of all ages, myLACYS offers flattering styles such as bikinis, French cuts, thongs, boy shorts, and briefs, in a new, patent-pending nanotechnology fabric that eliminates slight moisture issues women may experience due to myriad issues including mild stress incontinence. The product's high-technology fabrics are combined with a thin, discreet pad to offer slight moisture protection, a new concept for the apparel industry. Barge created myLACYS because no other lingerie product exists that offers moisture protection while being feminine, stylish and youthful.

"I really think myLACYS will help bring people into the store. We have all types of clothing here, and now we have everything fashionable clear down to the underwear," said Susan Villanti, owner of Fashion Plate boutique. "It's already taking off -- we've sold several pair so far in a very short time, and if the initial reaction is any indication to its success, I expect myLACYS to sell very well!"
