Bill funds nanotechnology at UAH, children's advocacy center

Abstract:
A 2008 funding bill approved by the U.S. House Thursday includes $500,000 for the University of Alabama in Huntsville's Nano and Micro Devices Laboratory and $250,000 for the National Children's Advocacy Center, according to Rep. Bud Cramer.

Cramer, who also secured $500,000 for the UAH laboratory in 2005, said it was important for North Alabama to be a leader in the development of new technology.
