Moran, a veteran of branded apparel and footwear with more than 25 years experience in sales and marketing, will lead Nano-Tex's domestic sales initiatives as the company continues to expand their footprint throughout the apparel and commercial and residential interiors markets.

OAKLAND, CA | Posted on May 9th, 2007

Prior to joining Nano-Tex, Moran was executive vice president of Mulberry Neckwear, a $50 million licensed neckwear company whose customers include Federated, May Company, Saks Department stores, Kohls and Dillards. He managed the company's sales team and led all sales and merchandise planning activities, marketing moderate and better ties under licenses from Kenneth Cole, Claiborne, BCBG, Sean John, J Garcia and Ben Sherman.

Previously, Moran was senior vice president of sales/US for Dr. Martens, a global branded casual footwear company. During his first two years at the company, Moran stabilized sales, improved gross margins, and led the successful turnaround and return to growth and profitability.

From 1991 to 2002 Moran worked for Levi Strauss & Company in a variety of senior sales and product merchandising roles, culminating as vice president of sales for department stores. In this role Moran was responsible for strategic account relationships and led a national field sales organization managing all categories of the Levi's™ and Dockers® apparel business.

Moran's additional executive experience includes managing day-to-day operations at Joe Boxer, Incorporated, as executive vice president, and launching and developing Oh- La-La! Incorporated, a specialty coffee bar and café retail company, as president.

Moran holds a bachelor of business administration from San Francisco State University.
