Sensors Expo & Conference 2007 Attracts More than 200 Exhibitors - Over 40 are New Exhibitors

Questex Media Group, Inc. today announced that more than 200 suppliers are expected to participate at the 2007 Sensors Expo & Conference. Of those already committed to exhibit, more than 40 are new exhibitors to the show. Sensors Expo & Conference is the leading event in North America focused exclusively on sensors and sensor-integrated systems. This year, Sensors Expo & Conference will be held June 11-13 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.

"For the second year in a row, we have added a significant number of new exhibitors, including Ascension Technology, Atair Aerospace, Bluetooth, Cooper Bussmann, Infolytica, Omron Electronic Components, Panasonic, Ticona and Vishay Micro-Measurements, in addition to the large number of returning companies. The keynote addresses, which are open to all attendees, will be:

* "Roving Mars: Spirit, Opportunity and the Exploration of the Red Planet," by Dr. Steve Squyres, the principal investigator for the science payload on the Mars Exploration Rover Project (MER), will take place on Tuesday, June 12 at 9 a.m.
* "Sensing the Health of the Planet through the Global Earth Observation System of Systems," by Gregory W. Withee, Senior Advisor to the Office of the Administrator, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), will take place on Wednesday, June 13 at 9 a.m.

Sensors Expo & Conference will be co-located with the International Robots & Vision Show, North America's only event focused on robotics and machine vision technology.
