INDIA: International Convention on Colorants 2007 organised on Feb 7-9

Abstract:
The 2nd International Convention on Colorants 2007 was jointly organised by Dyestuff Technology Department of Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) and The Dyestuff Manufacturers Association of India (DMAI) at Hotel Leela Kempenski in Mumbai. The event was inaugurated on 7 th Feb 2007. The business session was on 8th and 9 th February at the same venue.

The aim of COC-07 is multifold. The conventions will conceptually sketch the current and anticipated trends and developments in color chemistry and allied field in years to come. The presentations will cover environment friendly colorants and processes, colorants in home, clothing, personal care, polymers and life sciences, colorants for energy conversion and conversation, colorants in the world of electronics and opto- electronics and nanotechnology in colorants.
