Technology talk

Abstract:
Goldsmith discussed the progress pathway that he said begins at discovery and innovation, which lead to new companies and jobs which then lead to a better economy. He said that at times the process is slower than others but that currently it is accelerated. Goldsmith said that experts predict that over the next 25 years more innovations will occur than they did over the entire 20th century.

According to Goldsmith, many of the new advances will be in biotechnology, nanotechnology, energy and photonics — technologies that Goldsmith said "will redefine economy."
