Ben Bova: Future of sports
Abstract:
Nanotechnology is on its way, too. Using machines that are the size of viruses, it may become possible to virtually rebuild the entire body. Imagine athletes whose skins have been augmented by layers of metal, whose nervous systems have microscopic computers imbedded in them so that they can track the flight of a ball down to the microsecond.
