Milliken fights ‘messy car’ syndrome
Abstract:
On Wednesday, Milliken and The Fechheimer Brothers Co., a uniforms manufacturer based in Cincinnati, introduced a fabric called IntelliDry, polyester-cotton fabrics with stain-resistance properties developed using nanotechnology. The fabric is designed to repel liquids and release tough, ground-in stains during normal laundering. Meanwhile, the inside of the uniform wicks perspiration away from the body to keep the wearer dry and comfortable.
