Latest functionalities for merino wool

Abstract:
Leveraging on nanotechnology, AWI has developed several new easy care improvements on merino products. Nano-tech AB treatment can inhibit bacterial growth such as staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae on merino wool, while Nano-tech AM treatment protects merino wool from being damaged by larvae produced by most common moths. In addition, a fluorocarbon/nanoparticle finish provides quick dry and stain resistant properties for merino wool.
