Gonzalez secures $8 million for defense projects in S.A.
Abstract:
The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Defense Appropriations bill for fiscal year 2006, which includes $8 million in funding for several San Antonio research projects.
The institute plans to use the funds to develop nanotechnology-driven protective clothing for soldiers deployed in the field.
