Engineering school awarded $1.2 million grant
Abstract:
The University of Memphis Herff College of Engineering has received a $1.2 million federal grant to establish a Center for Advanced Sensors.
The Center connects the U of M with Vanderbilt University's expertise in nanotechnology and the University of Alabama-Huntsville's program in wavefront sensing. The three universities will conduct research to develop new imaging devices for military applications, with graduate and undergraduate students participating in the research.
