High Performance Portable Fuel Cells Easier to Manufacture
Abstract:
PolyFuel Inc. today announced a new version of its hydrocarbon membrane for portable applications that provides fuel cell manufacturers with the best in class performance attributes of its predecessor, while at the same time providing significantly greater manufacturing flexibility. This is the first hydrocarbon fuel cell membrane that is a "drop-in" replacement for fluorocarbon membranes such as DuPont's Nafion(R) in existing fuel cell membrane electrode assembly (MEA) manufacturing processes.
