Nanotube coating could suit pyroelectric detectors
Abstract:
Researchers at the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) have investigated the use of single-walled carbon nanotubes as a thermal-absorption coating for pyroelectric detectors. The detectors have applications in measuring the optical power of laser systems.
