WMU takes part in nanosensor research
Abstract:
Western Michigan University will receive a $2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy to continue development of nanosensors that could be used to detect chemical, biological and radiological weapons.
Subra Muralidharan, head of the WMU Nanotechnology Research and Computation Center, will head up the project that could help decrease the time it takes to identify chemical and radiological agents deployed from weapons.
