MEMS sensors add I.Q. points to electronic gadgets
Abstract:
After years of speculation that MEMS sensors could enable dramatic new applications, it appears that near-term opportunities are at least as strong, or stronger, in existing products. MEMS can provide the finishing touch to a product, differentiating it from the competition by making it easier to use, more intuitive and even more intelligent. The most recent examples are MEMS sensors in portable projectors, digital cameras and cellular phones.
