Spintronics on workshop agenda

Abstract:
Spintronics is the next frontier of future Science which researchers and scientists across the world are aiming to break in the race for miniaturisation. A specialised branch of Nanotechnology, which involves structures of the order of one billionth of a metre, spintronics will make possible things like e-medicine, thinking automobiles, self-regulating textiles and much more. Ideas and issues related to it are being discussed at a four day-long international workshop which began at Prakruti Resorts, on the outskirts of the city, on Tuesday.
