PEN Inc. Chairman Scott Rickert Announces Company Vision, Product Priorities and Management Team: Webcast Highlights the Launch of PEN

Deerfield Beach, FL | Posted on October 3rd, 2014

The webcast introduces the three pillars of Dr. Rickert's vision for PEN's future, as well as the product priorities and management teams for the company.

The first pillar of Dr. Rickert's vision is for PEN to tackle big, global problems in growing markets. For that reason, he adds, PEN product development will focus on three categories: safety, health and sustainability. Dr. Rickert also introduced the PEN Innovation Team charged with pursuing the vision, made up of leadership from PEN and its subsidiaries, Applied Nanotech Inc. and Nanofilm.

The second pillar of Dr. Rickert's vision is the importance of being a commercialization powerhouse to launch products and brands. Dr. Rickert introduced the Sales and Marketing Team, stating, "That team is already up and running to set direction of the PEN brand of products."

The importance of capital to PEN's growth is the third pillar Dr. Rickert discussed.

PEN's accelerated growth will require access to the capital markets. A primary reason for the combination of Applied Nanotech and Nanofilm is access to the public equity markets. Dr. Rickert is confident that with careful explanation of new products and related growth to the investment community, capital will be readily available. In addition to internal growth, acquisitions will be considered to enhance distribution capabilities and broaden technology knowledge and potentially improve the capital base of PEN.

The webcast concludes with Q&A session with Dr. Rickert responding to shareholder questions.
