Abstract:
Among 200 companies that participated in the Second Exhibition of Laboratory Devices and Materials Made in Iran, 33 equipment manufacturing companies active in the field of nanotechnology presented over 200 laboratorial and industrial devices that are commonly used in nanotechnology.
According to the secretariat of the Second Exhibition of Laboratory Devices and Materials Made in Iran, a sum total of 2,632 invoices - approximately $59 million worth - have been registered to purchase nanotechnology devices presented in the exhibition.
The exhibition authorities said that a total of 21,000 invoices valuing over $190 million have been registered during the organization of the Second Exhibition of Laboratory Devices and Materials Made in Iran.
Among the devices there were presented in the field of nanotechnology in the Second Exhibition of Laboratory Devices and Materials Made in Iran, mention can be made of products such as scanning tunneling microscope, atomic force microscope, vibrating sample magnetometer, electrospinning, capillary electrophoresis, various coating and deposition systems, gas and two-dimensional chromatography equipment, porosimetry and specific area measurement systems, and metallic nano-colloid and nanopowder production equipment.
The majority of the products have been produced based on Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council's plans and support, and 46 devices have succeeded in the acquirement of nanoscale certificate.
The total number of invoices to purchase nanotechnology equipment in the First Exhibition of Laboratory Devices and Materials Made in Iran was 550, which was held in April 2013.
The Second Exhibition of Laboratory Devices and Materials Made in Iran was held in Tehran International Permanent Fairground on 27-30 April 2014, and 200 companies presented more than 4,500 products in the exhibition.
