Abstract:
A national conference was held in Rawal Institutions(www.rawalinstitutions.com), an engineering college in Delhi NCR, on 15 and 16 November. This two day conference was about the futuristic trends in mechanical engineering and Nano Technology.
Many famous dignitaries from premier universities and colleges of India arrived on this occasion- Dr. Neeraj Khare (Prof. IIT, Delhi), Dr. S. P. Khatkar (director UIET, M. D. University), Dr. Raj Singh (vice chancellor, G.D. Goenka University) and other experts. As per the tradition of RI (Rawal Isntitutions), the programme started with lighting of lamp of wisdom.
All people were welcomed by the organizer of the programme, prof. B. K. Singh who addressed the purpose of the conference. He also spoke about the chances and essentialness of new technologies and Nanotechnologies. Thereafter, Prof. A. S. Chaggar introduced the crowd to the achievements and prefixes of the distinguished guests. Prof. Neeraj Khare from IIT (International Institute of Technology, Delhi) who was present as the key note speaker addressed the crowd. Prof. Khare unfolded the limitless possibilities attached with the field of Nanotechnologies in his speech. Along with the basics, he also underlined the usability of Nanotechnology in developing high temperature superconductors. Many other things related to the same area were told by him and all the attendees applauded his speech.
The director of UIET, M. D. University, Dr. S. P. Khatkar appreciated the effort of management and organizing team of Rawal Institutions. Also he assured that all the essential supports will be provided to the organization for organizing such grand level seminars and workshops in future. Thereafter, with speechifying the importance and usefulness of practical learning over the theoretical study, Dr. Raj Singh (vice chancellor, G.D. Goenka University) announced the commencement of the conference and It started with the divulgation of proceeding booklets by the management team of RI and the guests present.
There were total four technical sessions were incorporated along with this conference. All the sessions were chaired by Dr. M. N. Deshmukh, Dr. Badri Narayan, Dr. Bhim Singh and Prof. A. V. Waghmare (one by each). Total 10 and 9 papers were submitted by the delegates on first and second day of the conference, respectively.
Dr. Rajender Kumar Anayat, the Chief Guest arrived on second day of the seminar, issued the certificates to all the delegates. He addressed how helpful such kind of programmes is in providing appropriate platform to research students. The chairman Sh. C. B. Rawal announced that the management is always ready to provide the necessary support for such activities which motivate all researchers.
In the end of the conference all attendees enjoyed the musical programme- "Jugalbandi" presented by Tabla and Tanpura artists.
