Abstract:
Dr Jari Liimatainen has been appointed as interim CEO of Finnish coating technology specialist Picodeon. He will continue as CTO of the company.
Jari has previously held several senior management positions as Managing Director of Metso Materials and Vice President of Metso Minerals and Metso Powdermet, divisions of process industry technology and services company Metso Oyj. He is also a partner of management consulting company Kerpua.
In addition, Jari is an adjunct professor of engineering materials technology at Aalto University School of Engineering and a member of the Finnish Academy of Technical Sciences. He has an MBA from Tampere University, a DSc from Tampere University of Technology and an MSc (Physical & Mechanical Metallurgy) from Aalto University.
Picodeon's previous CEO Mr Marko Mylläri will as continue as an external business development consultant to the company.
Picodeon recently completed a EUR €5 million round of investment by Enso Ventures Ltd.
