Abstract:
Basa Polymer Company, one of the nano-flooring producing companies, signed a contract with Tolid Darou Company to sell anti-erosion nano-floorings to be used in some parts of storerooms of the company.

Iranian Drug Production Companies Use Epoxy Nano-flooring in Corridors

Terhan, Iran | Posted on July 24th, 2013

The contract was signed after a sample of the antibacterial epoxy nano-floorings was used in an ampoule fabrication hall, and after it obtained the required technical approval. Another contract was signed to use the nano-floorings in the corridors and clean rooms of the company.

According to Eng. Pardis Rostamzadeh, member of the Board of Directors of Baspar Sazan Iranian Company, the anti-erosion properties of these nano-floorings has been increased about 10 times in comparison with other samples existing in the market. In addition, these materials have antibacterial properties too.

"Antibacterial epoxy nano-floorings made in Basa Polymer Company succeeded in the elimination of more than 99% of bacteria grown on the surface of flooring during a standard bacterium growth test," she said.

Among other products made in this company that received a warm welcome in the market, mention can be made of anti-erosion epoxy nano-flooring with high metal adherence properties and anti-slip properties. This product was used in Mapna Pars Company in December 2012. The advantage of this nano-flooring over other floorings is its very high adhesion to metals and the lack of oil permeability in the flooring. In addition, the safety of the staff has been taken into consideration due to the anti-slip surface of the nano-flooring.

Baspar Sazan Iranian Company started its activity in the field of nano-flooring production in March 2012. It has obtained Nano Scale Certification from Tech-Market Services Corridor. Antibacterial products of the company have acquired Antibacterial Approval from Iran Pasteur Institute, and they are trying at the moment to obtain the certificate from the Ministry of Health, Hygiene, and Medical Treatment.
