Abstract:
Mashhad University of Medical Sciences published Nanomedicine Journal in English on the applications of nanotechnology in medicine, pharmaceutics, and basic medical sciences.
At present, numerous researches are being carried out on the applications of nanotechnology in medicine and pharmaceutics in the country. Therefore, the publication of a specialized journal in order to publish those types of articles will help the progress of this science in the country.
The seasonal is published with the effort of Nanotechnology Research Center of Department of Pharmaceutics of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. Dr. Mohammad Ramezani is the editor-in-chief of the journal.
A number of creditable members of the scientific boards of some of the universities in the country and some foreign universities cooperate with the journal as editors. Among them, mention can be made of Prof. Hamid Qandehari from Utah University, the United States, Prof. Marianna Foldvari from University of Waterloo, Canada, Prof. Afsaneh Lavasani from University of Alberta, Canada, Dr. Omid Farrokhzad from Harvard University, the United States, and Dr. Omid Moqimi from Copenhagen University, Denmark.
