Will nanotech bring jobs to N.C.?

Abstract:
Ten years ago, not a lot of people knew too much about biotechnology. But today, biotech is a multi-million dollar industry represented by dozens of firms and hundreds of jobs and many are hoping that nanotechnology will follow a similar path.

That was the focus of the nanotechnology manufacturing conference Wednesday at the Joint School for Nanoscience and Nanoengineering in Greensboro. The event was organized by the JSNN, the Center of Innovation for Nanotechnology in Durham, the Connecticut-based NanoBusiness Commercialization Association and the North Carolina Aerospace Alliance.
