Home > Press > NanoInk to Exhibit and Present at TechConnect 2012: Visit Booth #410 for live demonstrations of the NLP 2000 System
Abstract:
NanoInk's NanoFabrication Systems Division is pleased to announce that it will exhibit at and present two talks at the Nanotech Conference and Expo 2012, one of four interconnected conferences comprising the TechConnect World 2012 joint conferences, expo and innovation showcase. The conference will be held from Monday, June 18 through Thursday, June 21 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif. NanoInk will be running live demonstrations of the NLP 2000 System at booth number 410. The NLP 2000 is a user-friendly and easy to operate desktop nanolithography instrument capable of depositing a wide variety of materials, including nanoparticles and biological molecules, with sub-micron accuracy and precision.
Jason Haaheim, senior R&D engineer for NanoInk, is one of three co-chairs for the NanoFab: Manufacturing and Instrumentation Symposium portion of the Nanotech Conference & Expo. In addition to co-chairing the symposium, he will give an oral presentation titled, "High-Throughput Large-Area Direct-Write Nanofabrication with Full Automation," on Tuesday, June 19, at 2:30 p.m. in Room 210.
On Wednesday, June 20, at 11 a.m. in the Great America J Room, Dr. Alexander Smetana, senior applications scientist for NanoInk, will present a talk on "Direct Printing of Nano and Microscale Transition Metal Features." The presentation will focus on the practical applications of using a large scale production method to print uniform and regular arrays of metal features that range in size from 1.5 microns to 25 nm.
The TechConnect World 2012 joint conferences, expo and innovation showcase is a unique combination of four interconnected conferences that highlight advancements in Nanotech, Microtech, Biotech, Cleantech as well as the technology overlaps between these converging domains. The Nanotech Conference & Expo portion of the summit is the world's largest nanotechnology event and as such showcases application-focused research from the top international academic, government and private industry laboratories.
