Abstract:
The Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council holds Top Nanotechnology Awards annually in order to evaluate and appreciate the achievements and activities of all organizations active in the field of nanoscience, nanotechnology and nano industry in the country.
Six ceremonies have so far been held since 2006, and Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council aims to hold the seventh ceremony this year.
The Seventh Top Nanotechnology Awards includes nanotechnology activities and achievements obtained in 2011. The ceremony to appreciate the best in nanotechnology will be held in October 2012, concurrently with the Fifth Iran Nano Festival.
The best nanotechnology bodies will be announced in the following sections:
o Top three research institutes;
o Top five technologies and products;
o Top ten researchers;
o Top Iranian researcher residing in foreign countries;
o Top foreign researcher;
o Top young researcher;
o Top three growth centers;
o Top three laboratories;
o Top five media.
In this ceremony, research centers and researchers will be evaluated according to their research activities, publication of articles, production of technology, writing of books, and training university students.
Foreign researchers will also be judged according to their activities by the Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council's referees.
Document submission for the Top Researchers Section of the ceremony will end on May 31, 2012.
