Home > Press > Printed Electronics Europe: Hear Strategies of Companies with more than €700 Billion annual sales
Abstract:
Next week Printed Electronics Europe 2012 will be held in Berlin, on April 3-4 (www.PrintedElectronicsEurope.com). The event has seen strong year-on-year growth and pre-registration has grown from last year. With less than a week to go, here are the key highlights attendees can expect.
Engagement with End Users
The event is the meeting place for adopters of printed electronics. The sessions focus on market verticals including consumer goods and electronics, aerospace and mobility, healthcare, media and the built environment. Among presenters and attendees are some of the World's largest companies in these verticals. Attendees will hear from P&G, Mars, Metro Group, Abbott Diagnostics, Fulton, Schneider Electric, Oxylane and many others. The End-User Forum is an open interactive panel of end users discussing their needs and addressing questions by those in the industry.
Presenting companies - more than €700 Billion Sales
The gross sales of presenting companies - end users, integrators and providers, is more than €700 Billion annually. Large investments are being made and the topic is now progressing rapidly into commercialising. The missing link is the "user pull", which this event addresses by bring together users and integrators with those developing the technology. The conference features application and technical sessions, covering the exciting emerging components and materials with many World first announcements. Sessions debate the merits of different technologies.
New: Manufacturing Forum: Learn how the whole manufacturing chain fits together for just €95
Printed electronics manufacturing is becoming increasingly integrated as companies work on putting together different printing, lamination, substrate handling, curing and finishing processes. This whole value chain, including materials, will be covered in this session, aimed at those intending to manufacture printed electronics, or who supply materials or equipment for creating printed electronics. It will also be useful for printers who wish to understand their opportunities in printed electronics and how the equipment is being integrated and for companies who want to meet organisations that can help them make products. Hear from 16 presenters, see equipment in action, and receive access to the trade show (include refreshments), for just €95 - access to the Manufacturing forum, sponsored by VTT, is included when you purchase the tradeshow ticket.
World First Product Views at Demonstration Street
Demonstration Street is a large area dedicated to showing the full range of complete working products. It will include printed flexible displays such as posters, e-readers, audio paper, interactive games, OLED displays, electronics in fabrics, interactive printed controls and menus, printed RFID and much more. Visitors to Demonstration Street will have the opportunity to closely examine samples, prototypes, and commercial products. These demonstrators, that incorporate printed electronic functionality, will help attendees envisage how printed electronics can be integrated into their own products.
In addition, all attendees will receive free working samples and much more. Register now at www.PrintedElectronicsEurope.com for Europe's leading event on the topic - where you will meet customers, not competitors.
