TNT2011 International Conference: scientific program announced today This year TNT unveils 40 keynotes

Canary Islands, Spain | Posted on November 3rd, 2011

The 12th edition of the Trends in Nanotechnology International Conference (TNT2011) will take place between 21 and 25 of November in Canary Islands (Spain) at Iberostar Anthelia Hotel, located right in front of the sea between the exceptional beaches of "Fañabé" and "El Duque" in the exclusive Costa Adeje, Tenerife Sur.

The TNT2011 structure will keep the fundamental features of previous editions but, for the first time, will be held two satellite workshops:
NanoCode (Implementing the European Commission Code of Conduct for Responsible Nanotechnologies) - November 23, 2011 (Wednesday afternoon).
MULT-EU-SIM (European Multiscale Simulation for the Computational Era) November 24, 2011 (Thursday afternoon)
The attendance to those workshops will be free of charge but registration must be done prior to the event.

Over the past years, the organization of TNT join efforts to bring high level speakers from all over the World and this time is no exception. Well known speakers from the International Nano-Community will take part in this gathering, as Masakazu Aono (MANA / NIMS, Japan), Uzi Landman (Georgia Tech, USA), Peter Schurtenberger (Lund University, Sweden) and Stephan Roche (ICN/CIN2, Spain), among others.

TNT2011 Specific Sessions:
Nanobiotech-bioinspired: in collaboration with TRAIN2 project
Nanobiotechnology: in collaboration with IBEC-UB (Spain)
Graphene & Nanotubes: in collaboration with nanoICT project
Risks & Regulations: in collaboration with NanoCode project
Soft matter: in collaboration with FRIMAT (Switzerland)
Nanomagnetism: in collaboration with CIC nanoGUNE (Spain)

The organizers also announce new Extended Deadlines, as follows:
Early Bird Registration Fee until November 6, 2011
Post-Deadline Abstract Submission (Poster only) until November 14, 2011

TNT2011 International Conference will provide a unique opportunity for broad interaction.
