NanoInk,® Inc. announced today that it has initiated a process to evaluate the company's strategic alternatives with the assistance of its financial advisor, Lazard. NanoInk is the leader in next-generation nanolithography and has been developing and commercializing disruptive nanoscale products and applications for the life sciences and technology industries. In life sciences, the company's technology is currently being applied to proteomics, diagnostics, cell biology and other areas. NanoInk's patent portfolio includes more than 100 issued patents and nearly 250 patent applications worldwide covering their next-generation nanolithography.

Due to the broad applicability of NanoInk's technology across multiple industries, the company is considering a range of strategic alternatives including, but not limited to, a sale of the company, a sale of specific DPN® applications and/or the NanoGuardianTM business, or partnerships around NanoInk's technology.
