Abstract:
Over 30,000 people visited the Fourth Nanotechnology Festival and Exhibition (Iran Nano 2011) which was held with the participation of more than 167 centers active in the field of nanotechnology in Tehran from October 5 to 9, 2011.

In this year's exhibition, more than 100 nanotechnology-based products were put on display by 21 promotional-educational centers, including educational companies, scientific publications and societies, 34 research and scientific centers such as universities and science and technology parks, 16 laboratories, and 96 productive and commercial companies active in the fields of automobile, agriculture and packaging, textile, nanomaterials, water and environment, building, petroleum and the related industries, health and hygiene and laboratory equipment.

Over 21,000 people visited the achievements presented in the fourth nanotechnology exhibition among which mention can be made of a number of MPs, credible researchers, ministers, university deans, and 65 foreign guests, including 45 members of the Asia Nano Forum. In addition, 9,000 people visited the Nano Club during the fourth festival.

The Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council, affiliated to the presidential office, has been holding nanotechnology festivals and exhibitions annually since 2008.
